Dearest ,

Let’s start with the basics…

Imagine water flowing through a creek, much like the energy flows through your body. There are several pools where the water swirls around before flowing on.

These pools are like our chakras, forming spiralling energy within our consciousness.

Here’s the thing. If nothing else were around this creek, it would flow pure and clear. However, life is messy, and things tend to fall into the creek.

And then what happens? The creek can’t flow!

However if we open the paths between the things, the energy flows, and amazing transformation is in order.

Each pool of energy has a purpose and can be blocked by a specific kind of emotional muck. Opening the chakras is an intense experience. And once you begin this process, your life will never be the same.

Now… Let’s begin with your biggest obstacle…

Your Weakest Chakra Is… The Sacral Chakra

sacral chakra

In Sanskrit, this Chakra is called svadhisthana, which means “the place of the self.” It’s orange in colour and is located right below the belly button and extends to its center.

Like also known as the Water Chakra, the Sacral Chakra is about the ebb and flow of your sense of being. Literally, it’s the freedom of going with the flow.

In other words, the 2nd chakra’s role is focused on your identity and the possibilities that spring forth from its fullest realization. It’s actually the wellspring of creative energy to permeate your life of meaningful progression.

While the disciplines dictate the lack of material attachment being paramount, it doesn’t mean you need to eschew enjoyment as well. After all, life is meant to be pleasurable in its fleeting moments, especially in consuming the fruits of your labor.

And yes, that includes the most exquisite of delights like sex and intimacy, and even the bond of friendship. This chakra holds “eat, drink, and be merry” as its core tenet.

When balanced, the Sacral Chakra enables you to relish in the hedonistic things life has to offer, without overdoing them. Sex, good food, and creative activities will lead to a sense of wellness and abundance.

What’s The Block?

GUILT.

What do you blame yourself for? What’s eating you inside? What burdens you?

Because of past mistakes, you feel weighed down. The regrets of failures gone by, obscuring your vision for the future.

Consequently, you punish yourself. As penance, you choose to deprive yourself of the pleasures of life. Buying into the lie you don’t deserve good things.

Life becomes a sea of grey, a drudge that you’re forced to trudge through.

And this is the question you may have in mind…

What If There’s Too Little of It?

DUTY.

If you’ve spent a lot of time focusing on practical things without enjoying the fruits of your labor, your sacral chakra may be underactive.

Busyness is often a sign of inherent issues that are too excruciating to deal with. You mask the pain with productivity. In the short term, it may be effective. However in the long run, it can play out as…

Symptoms include depression, impotence, decreased sex drive and a lack of passion and creativity.

So the sooner you address it, the sooner you can inject a sense of “je se ne quois” back into your life.

Unblock Your Sacral Chakra

Don’t take things for granted, start thanking the universe. Honestly, being grateful is already a good enough step with most people.

There’s some simple things you can do that help your root chakra to be further revved up.

When this chakra starts getting energised, you’ll be more in touch with myself. The everyday will be touched with meaning and purpose. You’ll start vibrating at a near-heavenly level.

However, you need to remove all doubt in your head, so you can get the necessary wisdom to create breakthroughs in your life.

And you’re merely 2 steps away from the most glorious awakening!
