Dear [firstname] Your Weakest Chakra Is… The Sacral Chakra
In Sanskrit, this Chakra is called svadhisthana, which means “the place of the self.” It’s orange in colour and is located right below the belly button and extends to its center.
Like also known as the Water Chakra, the Sacral Chakra is about the ebb and flow of your sense of being. Literally, it’s the freedom of going with the flow.
In other words, the 2nd chakra’s role is focused on your identity and the possibilities that spring forth from its fullest realization. It’s actually the wellspring of creative energy to permeate your life of meaningful progression.
While the disciplines dictate the lack of material attachment being paramount, it doesn’t mean you need to eschew enjoyment as well. After all, life is meant to be pleasurable in its fleeting moments, especially in consuming the fruits of your labor.
And yes, that includes the most exquisite of delights like sex and intimacy, and even the bond of friendship. This chakra holds “eat, drink, and be merry” as its core tenet.
When balanced, the Sacral Chakra enables you to relish in the hedonistic things life has to offer, without overdoing them. Sex, good food, and creative activities will lead to a sense of wellness and abundance.
