Let’s start with the basics…
Imagine water flowing through a creek, much like the energy flows through your body. There are several pools where the water swirls around before flowing on.
These pools are like our chakras, forming spiralling energy within our consciousness.
Here’s the thing. If nothing else were around this creek, it would flow pure and clear. However, life is messy, and things tend to fall into the creek.
And then what happens? The creek can’t flow!
However if we open the paths between the things, the energy flows, and amazing transformation is in order.
Each pool of energy has a purpose and can be blocked by a specific kind of emotional muck. Opening the chakras is an intense experience. And once you begin this process, your life will never be the same.
Now… Let’s begin with your biggest obstacle…
Your Weakest Chakra Is… The Throat Chakra
In Sanskrit, this Chakra is called Vishuddha, which means “very pure”, which is the nature of truth. It’s blue in colour and is located right in between your collar bone, and it radiates down to the center of your heart and up to the center of your eyes.
And befitting its location, the 5th chakra is about giving voice to your truth. It’s about speaking with compassion and clarity. To make a difference with your words.
It enables you to speak with clarity, in a sea of doubters, or even in the midst of a hostile audience.
When your throat chakra is balanced, you will be able to clearly speak with love, kindness, and truth.
In fact, you will know exactly which words are appropriate for each situation. And speaking with a balanced throat chakra will enlighten and inspire those around you.
What’s The Block?
While speaking in truth is good, we may over-activate the 5th chakra with the opposite action.
That’s because you can also give voice to lies as well.
You could tell yourself various untruths.
That you’re not good enough. You’re not significant. Nobody loves you.
And then you start acting out…
Sometimes when one is overlooked or ignored, you may compensate by speaking over others. So that they can’t get a word in.
Those with overactive throat chakras will often interrupt others, often be told they have a loud voice or “love to hear themselves talk.”
Physically, you may suffer from throat pain, frequent infections, cavities or mouth ulcers
What If There’s Too Little of It?
Sometimes, we have been ignored and invalidated so much that we react in the opposite way – we shut down our voices and never speak our truth.
You may be thinking… What’s the point? Who’s going to listen to little ol’ me anyway?
If you have an underactive throat chakra, you have likely been called shy or quiet. And you may find yourself unable to express your emotions or struggling for words when you try to speak your truth.
Physical symptoms often include digestive issues, because energy diverted away from the throat chakra often ends up being “swallowed” or sent down to the 3rd chakra.
Unblock Your Throat Chakra
Don’t take things for granted, start thanking the universe. Honestly, being grateful is already a good enough step with most people.
There’s some simple things you can do that help your root chakra to be further revved up.
When this chakra starts getting energised, you’ll be more in touch with myself. The everyday will be touched with meaning and purpose. You’ll start vibrating at a near-heavenly level.
However, you need to remove all doubt in your head, so you can get the necessary wisdom to create breakthroughs in your life.
And you’re merely 2 steps away from the most glorious awakening!
