Spend some time tonight looking at the night sky. See the blue-black background of the sky. Notice the small white dots of starlight. Notice that moonlight is just as healing as sunlight. There are times in our lives where we need the contrast of darkness in order to notice the beauty of the light. Sometimes the energy around us feels so overwhelming that we can barely focus. This is like the daylight hours, when the sun illuminates everything around you. The light is so omnipresent that we almost forget that we are in the presence of divine radiance.
Focus on your crown chakra which unites your physical being with the Universe. Pay attention to your intuition as that is how the universe communicates with you. Your inner knowing is guided by the light of this chakra. Out under the moon and stars, the pale light is easier to drink in without feeling like its just too much. But remember, the light of the moon is the reflected light of the sun – it’s the same divine radiance. Allow this light to infuse your crown chakra with its magnificence so that it will filter down through the rest of your being.
Stand outside in the dark tonight or it that’s not possible or comfortable for you, stand in a darkened room. Envision your crown chakra opening like a camera lens taking in the love of the universe. Feel this chakra surrounded by dancing white stars. Allow this white light to lift you, to buoy your spirit. Feel yourself soar upward to engage with these twinkling stars in the night sky. Here there are no problems or limitations. Here you are another shining being of pure light. When the time feels right, disengage from the stars and feel your energy moving back into your physical body. Before you open your eyes, move your body slowly to engage with the physical earth.
“Life is good. Thank you.“
