Sound has healing abilities. This is due to the frequencies of different vibrations, which resonate through you. Integrating harmonic sound into your day can balance you mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Today’s energy encourages you to find music that makes you feel whole. Seek out sounds that help you feel connected to your spirit. Notice which sounds help you feel grounded in your body. Embrace the sound that different people and animals make to express themselves. Being aware of sound gifts you with the ability to transform, grow, and heal yourself.
Enjoy your throat chakra. Your throat chakra allows you to express your own sound and communicate your thoughts and feelings with others. When open and aligned, you are able to share your frequency through sound to allow others to understand you.
Find a place where you feel comfortable expressing yourself out loud. Begin by making any noises that you feel called to make (laugh, sing, shout) in order to activate your throat chakra. Make sounds to fully express yourself. Don’t feel limited to the noises you can make. You can make animal sounds, say words, or simply hum a tune. As you intentionally use your throat to create sound energy, you are putting forth a frequency. Play around with sound (tempo/pitch/frequency) and see if you notice the difference in energy between sounds you try out. Play around with this meditation for as long as you feel called. When you are finished, gently place your hands over your throat and offer gratitude for this chakra.
