Ground into your root chakra. When this chakra is open and aligned, you feel safe, secure, and connected to your body. This chakra helps you to feel comfortable taking up space in the world and ensures your needs are met for you to thrive.
Find a comfortable seated position and close your eyes. Begin with a slow, rhythmic breath. On the inhale, feel your root chakra becoming activated; on the exhale, see it open into a ball of red energy. Continue breathing at an even peace and extend your root chakra down into the ground. Keep your attention on this red energy and notice it forming a protective aura around your entire body. This energy is cleansing your fears and doubts that keep you from fully embodying your physical form. Repeat to yourself the manra, “I am safe, I am loved, I am secure. I deserve to be here.” Remain in this meditative state for as long as you like. When you are fully nourished, call all the energy back to your root chakra and open your eyes.
