When you are disconnected from your center, other areas of life quickly fall out of alignment too. This is because your energy system is out of tune, and therefore you are taking actions from an imbalanced stance. If you feel off balance today, return to the core power held in your root chakra. This is your energetic foundation. It is nourished by gentle stretches, comfort food, and spending time in nature. Bringing this chakra back into alignment will unite your other chakras too.
Find balance through your root chakra. Lower back pain is the most immediate sign you are not grounded, as it feels anxious or fearful. Removing your energetic blocks of fear frees this energy to function at an optimal level. Then you can move into trust, faith, and assurance.
Today’s meditation is about facing your fears head on. Find a comfortable seated position and close your eyes. Breathe steady and become aware of the energy of your root chakra at the base of your spine. Feel into this energy and notice how it’s moving. While in this space of connection to the root chakra, ask yourself what it is that brings you fear. Envision all the things you’re afraid of and see the energy of your root chakra clearing out these fears as they move through you. Once the fear has been removed, imagine nourishing energy from the earth replenishing your root chakra. Continue to meditate in this space until you are fulfilled, and then open your eyes.
