Achieving flexibility takes strength training. Just like in yoga, you must gently practice new stances. Routines and habits are deeply ingrained in your behavior pattern. The longer you’ve done something, the more energy it takes to create a new pattern. Today’s energy encourages you to become more open to changes by actively practicing keeping your schedule loose. Alter your day so that it’s not entirely planned out. Notice how you feel when you have a bit of unscheduled time: can you enjoy just being in the moment or are you yearning to fill your time? Discover how you feel about your free time.
Find flexibility through your solar plexus chakra. By keeping this chakra open and aligned, you remain able to move with the natural flow of life. Surprises and changes in plans will be embraced with ease rather than met with frustration.
Begin by taking a seated position and rocking back and forth a few times. Get your body flexible and in a state of flow through movement. After this, settle in and close your eyes. Take three deep breaths. Drop into your solar plexus chakra just above your navel. Notice how it feels. Breathe into this yellow ball of energy for a minute and imagine all the energy slowly being drawn inward. Set the intention to be creative, adaptive, and flexible today. Create an image in your third eye of you being in balance and flow and then move the energy of this image down into your solar plexus chakra. Meditate in this space for as long as you feel called. Once you are fulfilled, return to normal consciousness, open your eyes, and do a big stretch.
