Today’s energy supports “cocooning,” which means creating a comfortable, nurturing, relaxing place where you can go inward. Your ability to relax and have a restful, uninterrupted sleep is conducive to good health and will help the energy flowing in your life. Your conscious mind needs time to rest and restore itself, especially when you feel over stimulated. Sleep is vital to your mental, physical,and emotional health. Being your cocoon helps to create a safe space for you to do some inward exploration. Here you can discover the richness of your inner world. Take it easy and make space for reflection.
Restore your third eye chakra. Many times in your daily life, you shut down your third eye to only be focused on the physical realm. By opening and aligning your third eye chakra, you restore your connection to the spiritual realm, where creativity, imagination, and intuition reside.
Create your cocoon before starting this meditation. Perhaps light an incense and gather blankets and pillows that make you feel comfortable. You might want to set a timer in case you doze off during this meditation. When you are ready, lay down in a relaxed position with your front side facing up. Ease yourself into a tranquil state. Breathe slowly, releasing your thoughts on the exhale, and sinking deeper into relaxation on the inhale. Begin to feel your third eye chakra becoming activated. Notice a gentle tingling in the middle of your forehead. Let this sensation melt and flow through your entire body. Sink deeper into relaxation and remain in this state for about 5-10 minutes. You may even fall asleep, which is absolutely okay. When you are restored, gently begin moving your fingers and toes, stretch your arms and legs, and open your eyes. Be easy on yourself as you resume your day. You may feel more contemplative and inward.
