Distraction pulls you out of the present moment. Today’s energy invites you to notice when you are not putting your full focus on your tasks at hand. When you are distracted, it is because your consciousness has wandered away from the present moment. This makes you behave on autopilot as you go through the motions of routine but keep your attention elsewhere. It is important to break this cycle so you can align with the energy flow of the present moment rather than acting out of habit or old emotional patterns. Incorporate a practice of mindfulness in your day to become fully engaged.
Remain aware of your third eye today. This chakra is your perception of reality, opening you to see the love and abundance of each moment, even when things are tough. When you notice that you’re slipping into a daydream, or reminiscing on the past or future, shift your consciousness back to the present moment.
Today’s focus is on mindfulness. Mindfulness is a way to remain present in the moment by creating peaceful inner harmony and engaging with your senses. The key is your intention to remain fully connected to all of your sensations and perceptions. Notice what you are feeling throughout the day. Slowly savor the taste of the food you eat. Feel the rhythm of your body as it moves. Listen to the sounds of your environment. Breathe deeply to savor the fresh air. Countinally come back to the present moment. This practice decreases anxiety and stress, as well as bolsters your connection to yourself.
