The sun radiates its light outward, but the moon reflects it to provide a different sort of illumination. This is the dynamic of yin and yang, passive and active, projective and reflective. Today’s energy asks you to feel how these two polarities move back and forth in your daily life. Figure out if you tend to be more of one than the other. Both sides have their merit and you can use the intuitive wisdom of the energy modality you feel most drawn towards.
Activate your solar plexus and moon chakra. When these two chakras are activated simultaneously, you feel a wholeness that comes from the merging of two opposites. Rather than a push-pull, these two energies integrate to complete one another.
Find a comfortable seated position and close your eyes. Taking slow, steady inhales, begin to notice your solar plexus chakra becoming activated. Watch it become a swirling ball of glowing yellow light just above your navel. Next, notice the energy at the base of your skull. Feel it start to tingle as you activate your moon chakra. Take a deep breath into this energy and then draw it up over your head and down towards your solar plexus. From there, back the energy back up your back to your moon chakra. Repeat this cycle as many times as you’d like to integrate these chakras. When you are fulfilled, return to regular consciousness then open your eyes. You have merged your solar plexus and moon chakras.
“I merge opposites within me to create union.”
