Today's Energy:

As the year comes to a close, today is an auspicious day to look forward to the new year. Use today to set intentions for what you want to manifest over the next year. Plant seeds for the new. Look for ways to prune what no longer serves your higher purpose. There is a clean slate, waiting for you to make your mark on the new year! Embrace the feeling of fresh energy coming your way and mark the occasion with a celebration. Whether you quietly acknowledge this brand new start or do it with a bang, it’s worth reflecting on all you’ve been through and accomplished this year.

Chakra Healing:

Balance all your chakras to start the new year in full alignment. In order to enter into the new year with positive energy, use the day to work on making sure that all of your chakras are unblocked or moving toward being unblocked. Fine tune your energy to ensure that you have all the support you need from your energetic body in moving into the new year.

Mindfulness Meditation:

If possible, conduct this meditation (all or a portion of it) outdoors in nature. Stand tall and feel roots emanate from your feet and enter into the earth. Anchor yourself in the healing properties of nature. Feel supported. See glowing red embers swirling around your root chakra. Notice the energy moving upward to your sacral chakra and as it does so see the energy turn to a vibrant orange color. Feel the energy travel upward to your solar plexus chakra, slowly changing in color to a bright yellow. Breathe deeply and let your lower chakras vibrate fully before seeing the energy move to your middle chakra, the heart chakra. Feel the love of this green energy pulsating in your heart chakra. Notice the energy moving a bit more quickly now as it enters the three higher chakras beginning with the throat chakra. Feel a soothing blue light fill this area before the energy moves into your third eye chakra. “See” the indigo colored energy filling your third chakra area. Feel a tug of energy as it moves to your crown chakra, and in doing so change to a violet color. Stand quietly and allow your body to sway from side to side as you feel these seven areas of colorful energy swirling in your energy body. When the time feels right, return to normal waking consciousness and end this meditation.
