Although it is not the most uplifting of topics, today we must focus on grief. There are no set rules because everyone mourns losses differently. When you’re feeling grief, bear in mind that sadness is love that has nowhere to go. So, it’s crucial for you to be as kind as possible to yourself.

It’s important to take the time necessary for yourself to grieve. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself to try to “get over” what you have been through. What’s  right for someone you know probably won’t be right for you. Although it sounds like a cliche, time is a great healer. You won’t always feel as down as you do at this moment in time. If you choose to honour this heartbreak now and to go through all the associated feelings, you’ll get through it a little easier.

Close your eyes as you enjoy experiencing a beautiful white light flooding over you. Invite someone that you miss so much into the glow. Enjoy the joy of reconnecting with them as you talk with them about how much you miss them as they tell you the same. When your conversation is over, make space for further connections with your loved ones in the future if you wish.
