If you don’t fully appreciate what you have it can be damaging to your relationships. You could even find that you run the risk of losing people who are important to you. This card serves as an invitation to appreciate differences.

“Today’s card is about misunderstanding and prejudice. What is it that I’m resisting?”
Use your mind’s eye to visualise a person you may be harshly judging. Can you feel the strength of those negative emotions? Now, imagine yourself facing this person, telling them what you like about them. Even if you run out of things to say, start repeating the qualities you admire. This exercise helps you to accept this individual for who they are. Next, listen as your chosen individual tells you what they appreciate about you. You can then finish the exercise off by thanking them for coming.
